Date Ideas For After Lockdown

We now live in a digitally obsessed world... no wonder online dating has been on the rise and even more so during the lockdown. Many of you have taken to the internet to find true love during this time. Virtual dating has become the norm from your generic style of dating. There are lots of apps that now have the option for you to video call the person you have matched with. There are also a number of zoom speed dating events across the internet. It won't be too long until we can start dating in person again. It's time to get your date-night outfit out that you have been waiting to wear all year. Here are some date ideas that you'll both love.

1. Norfolk Broads

If you're both a bit of a foodie, Norfolk Broads is the perfect place to go on a first date. It's the world's largest village store with an array of locally sourced food too. You can also pop to The Broads National Park and go on a relaxing boat trip. You can even hire a boat for the day. Find your perfect match by visiting the Norfolk Dating Site.

2. A Picnic at Blickling hall

If you love Picnics and History this could be such an idyllic date. It is said that Anne Boleyn's ghost appears only once a year. If you both love the spooky stuff this could be a great topic of conversation for you to have. Oh, and who doesn't love a typical picnic sandwich. There are also a few places to eat and drink such as The Farmyard Café, The Muddy Boots Café and The Bucks Arms.

3. Maddermarket Theatre

Lovers of The Globe Theatre in London? Then you'll love this Theatre. Did you know that the Maddermarket Theatre was opened before The Globe Theatre... something to tell your date if they don't already know. There are a lot of upcoming shows opening late in the year (around September time) So get yourself planning.

4. Roller coasters

If you love a bit of adrenaline why not check out the 1932 wooden rollercoaster located at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. The perfect date to giggle and laugh. There are no breaks on the train so a breakman is permitted. It is also the second-fastest wooden roller coaster in the UK, don't get scared now, see Norfolk Dating has lots to do. Fun fact... Bits of the music video House Of Fun by Madness was filmed at the Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and you can see the group riding the Roller Coaster.

5. Seal Watching

Take a boat ride and take a look at all the different types of seals. Perfect for animal lovers. Did you know that there are over 3000 pups born each year at the colony at Blakeney Point. The boat ride usually lasts an hour and the both of you will be doing a lot of Awwing on your date. Don't forget to take lots of pictures to remember the lovely day out.
